The Bostitch Hurriquake Coil Nails - 2-1/2" are specially designed ring shank nails to resist up to 2x high winds and up to 50% more resistance to earthquake conditions. They have an easy-to-identify head that is marked for easy identification during code inspection. The screw shank technology fills voids in sheathing while the smooth shank provides increase shear strength at the primary stress points. In addition, the improved plastic collation drives nails more smoothly and reduces flagging to ensure the nails are sunk flush.
