The Makita SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer with an LED Light (HR1830F) has a dual-mode operation: “rotation only”, and “rotation with hammering”. It also has a variable speed (0-1,500 RPM) and (0-5,000 BPM) for demanding applications. A recessed lock-on button for continuous us, plus a “No Hammering When Idling” function ensures extra-low vibration under no load. In addition, it has an soft-grip side handle with elastomer for better comfort, and is both ergonomic and a well-balanced design.
