The Makita Spline Rotary Hammer (HR3851) has a powerful 10 Amp motor for continuous heavy duty use with an all ball and needle bearing construction for longer tool life. It has a spline type drive system for maximum power, and an easy lever change from hammering only to rotation with hammering. In addition to an automatic brush cut-out system to advise the maintenance schedule and to protect the motor, it has a torque limiting clutch.
